Fountain Wells is a survey of the novels and short stories written about the events of the early oil fields in Ontario, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. The earliest of these novels was published in 1877, the latest in 1956. It is the first volume of a survey of the significant oil-field novels of America, called A Cavalcade of Oil-Field Novels. It is now available at Amazon.com and other on-line book stores.

Here are two of the images from the book.
