I will place the thesis on these webpages as I have time to retype it. The carbon copy is too fuzzy to scan properly.

This is my dissertation, completed at the University of Texas in 1972. I have changed the title from Character Types in Richard Cumberland's Comedies to Richard Cumberland: "Defender of the Downtrodden"?
